5.0 out of 5 stars Its name says it all!, April 1, 2011

I've never used this size; however, I am down to the last of the .5 oz that I bought, er hoarded, 2 years ago from the local Wal-mart. I have been using this product since the Fall of 2006. I was in a head on car collision and spent 6 1/2 weeks in an external fixator on one of my lower legs. Until the fixator was removed, I couldn't apply any kind of lotion or exfoliate my injured leg and couldn't reach my good lower leg to do anything to it either. The skin on my feet thickened horribly. On my first outing after the fixator was removed, I found the small jars of Blue Goo Cracked Heel Softener and applied it that evening. The next morning, the dead skin peeled off like a think orange skin. I know this sounds gross, but it shows you how incredibly effective it is.

There is one downside to this product. It does linger on your skin and can build up on the insides of shoes when you go sockless or in your sandals if you apply it in the morning before you head out for the... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Feet Love This!, June 12, 2011

If you wear sandals, this is just what your feet need. I tried it and it does work better than a pedicure! A wonderful blend of natural moisturizers, and you can use it sparingly and get great results -- a little goes a long way. Hours after my first application, the skin on my heels was soft and no longer felt dry or hard. What a luxury. No more rough calluses. I use it when I plan to sit for half an hour as it has oils that the skin needs to absorb, and it has to soak in. [Oils are good. No cream can do what this does!] Before walking about, I put a tissue in each sandal to blot up what my skin has not absorbed. And these can be tossed about 20 minutes later. Obviously, the best time to do this is in the evening before bed. I was surprised at how quickly toughened skin improves when using this. Although it recommends using it twice daily, after the skin is soft, this can be used once or twice a week, or as needed. I recommend this!

3.0 out of 5 stars Great product, but very messy, February 9, 2012
This review is from: Blue Goo Cracked Heel Foot Softener (Health and Beauty)
I have tried just about every foot treatment available for my chronically dry, rough feet, and Blue Goo is one of the best. With its unique oil base, it moisturizes better than any other foot lotion or cream. Within a few days, my feet were baby soft and smooth. It works best when used twice a day according to package directions. The one big drawback of this product is that it will stain clothing. Once this gets into your socks, no amount of detergent or bleach will remove it, so wear old socks when you lotion your feet. It would be nice if the company would put out a color-free version so this wouldn't be a problem. But if you can put up with the mess and you have seriously dry feet, this may be the treatment for you.
